Devon Vets Champions

Thanks to Julie Littlejohn for stepping in as goal keeper - well protected by the defensive line up of Jackie Anning, Lynn Whitfield, Sam Hewitt, Mel Hulburt, Cheryl Waterford and Cathy Hugill. Becky Hart led the midfield ably supported by Hannah Martin, Becky Lamb and Paula Clough while up front Sanchia Bradford and Jackie Daw found space and timely passes from those around them. The quality of hockey impressed the umpires (Devon appointed) and those watching, many complimenting the team on the way they played and how easily they found each other. One even questioned the age - suggesting they couldn't be vets!! A real team performance and a great reminder of how hockey should be played.
