| Indoor Challenge Report... With 3 sides travelling significant distances to compete in national league competitions. The men's senior side had the longest trip to play in Hull for their first national league appearance. Two draws and two loses in a revised competition means the side will have to pre qualify next season through the West rounds. The U18 Boys has a testing draw in the national finals qualifiers losing their first game 10-4 against Bowdon. The second came saw the boys produced a stunning display to defeat the mighty Cannock 4-3. Two further defeats, 9-4 Harleston and 7-1 Havant did nothing to dent the young sides spirits. The U18 girls with an even younger side than the boys faced tough established opposition in Sheffield. Defeats against Doncaster 8-0, Belper 8-1, Canterbury 7-1 and Horsham 3-0 may seem disappointing but coach Sue Ansley was extremely proud of her young inexperienced side. | ||
