Club Update

Training Sessions back on
We are pleased to announce that membership fees will be frozen
for the 2021-22 season!

All information about how and when to pay can be found in the
"About the Club" section of the website.
Over the coming weeks member accounts will be credited with the
appropriate refund as previously communicated.  Please
re-register when prompted, so that all account details are up to
date and, if able, you tick the gift aid box!

During the coming season we will be looking at  developing
incentives for members so we can reward members for bringing in
funds through schemes like Give as you live, Amazon Smile, online
shopping fundraisers and other wider Club initiatives.  You can
sign up for the online shopping fundraisers through links on our
Home page.

The updated Club website provides all the information you need
for the season ahead, including training times, preseason and
league fixtures.  The events calendar is continually updated so
keep checking in and use ‘omissions’ so Captains are aware of
when you’re available - It really does help us help you!

Colin Wood has taken on the new role of Training and Development,
looking at how we deliver engaging, creative and fun sessions
right across the Club.  Rory Coles will lead the Men’s and Colin
the Ladies Performance Groups, with input and assistance from our
internal coaches.  Ash Hough & Sanchia Bradford will lead Pathway
Sessions, again with support from Club Coaches.  Goalkeeper
Sessions start on Thurs 2 Sept 18:15-1945, open to all our league GK’s.

We are also looking at how we can further support the Junior and
Youth sessions.  The men's performance group will be supporting
on a rotation before National League home games.  Junior/Youth
training will begin on Sunday 12 September, but there will be an
open session on Sunday 5th Sept (10.00-11.30am) as part of "Club
Day" where junior members and parents can take part in fun hockey
activities.  If you’d like to add your support to our young
players in 2021-22 speak to Pete Long.

We are looking forward to an enjoyable and successful season on
and off the pitch!
