Dear Member
Season 2020/2021
Despite a delayed start to the season training is up running across all sections of the club and league matches due to start in October 2020 which is very good news. In light of this the Committee would like to take this opportunity to contact you all in relation to membership fees, breakdown of membership, mission statement and the clubs' values and expected behaviour.
Membership Fees
Please can we remind all members that subs are now due and it is crucial that for the club to function members pay on time. Details of membership are available on the club website. If you wish to pay via a payment plan you must notify our membership secretary Nicky Fritz email: pmhcmemberqueries@gmail.com. Thank you to those that have paid already – Gold Star!
Membership Breakdown
At the AGM the committee agreed that we would work on breaking down the average cost per section to ensure that members across the men’s, women’s and junior section were getting value for their membership and a level of equality. We are pleased to say that despite this being a difficult task the full finance breakdown has been achieved and the committee is satisfied that there is a level of equality in relation to games, coaching and pitch time for the ratio of members in each of the sections.
Mission Statement
PMHCs mission statement is:
‘PMHC making hockey accessible to all in the local community’
This season the committee wish to expand on this mission statement with the introduction of our 4 PMHC pillars which form the foundation of our club please see at the end of this letter for the pillars.
Club Values and Expectations
Following the above mission statement, the committee wish to ensure that all members understand that signing up as a member of the club that there are expectations with regard conduct. By signing up to the club you are also signing up to our values which are to be polite, respectful, inclusive, safe committed and disciplined.
Finally, we want to take the opportunity to wish all members a successful fun safe season of hockey.
