Director of Coaching & Performance and New Pitch

Gavin Featherstone accepts position to become the clubs new Director of Coaching & Performance

The club is delighted to confirm that Gavin Featherstone has accepted and will take up the position with the club from August. Gavin is arguably the most experienced and travelled English coach. Having coached at two Olympic games with the USA and South Africa, three national league clubs, England U21s, Singapore, Cornell University to name a few Gavin has an exceptional CV. The trustees believe Gavin will bring the experience and insight which will help the club to develop on and off the pitch at all ages/levels. Gavin will be responsible for the direction and delivery of coaching across the club and will be in attendance either leading sessions or supporting on a Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday and Sundays along with taking on the lead with the Ladies 1s on match days. 

New Pitch & Schedule

Over the next few weeks the club will be confirming the schedule/times for training which will change following Gavin's appointment. The good news is the new pitch development is progressing which will mean that there will be a change in schedule in October/November once the new pitch has been completed. The club will publish the schedule for the start of the season and the proposed change once the pitch has been completed.
