Match Report | A tough start the to season with a new team for the 2s. White eagles found the goal first however Plymouth were quick to find the equaliser from a short corner strike from Helen Horswell who found Charlie Smith on the post. White eagles found the goal again to make the score 2-1, but once again Plymouth worked hard to get the equaliser with a great team effort consisting of lots of great passes down the right hand side and finding new player Alina on the far post. 2-2 at half time Plymouth worked hard in the second half to keep the draw and played very defensively. However with 5 mins to go, Kirsty Nairn hit the ball into the D which found Charlie Smith on the penalty spot for a sweep at goal. Plymouth worked extremely hard in the last 4 mins to keep their well deserved win. Defending as a team and keeping possession. Very happy with 3 points from our first league game and aim to continue this onto next week. |
