| Match Report | A good result against a well established Taunton Vale side with some very experienced players. A very physical game from both sides resulting in Charlie Smith spending most of her game on the floor!! Taunton Vale were the first team to find the goal, with the half time score being 1-0 to them. Plymouth came out in the second half a lot calmer and played good passing hockey. The equaliser came from a short corner and a shot from Jackie Anning, which was was then slotted underneath the keeper by Charlie Smith. Hannah Bale had a fantastic game holding the centre midfield for the Plymouth 2s side and Charlotte Barrett continued to play well in defence, calmly taking it past a number of players and passing the ball accurately. It was great to have Elle Compton playing in the forward line and taking a stint in midfield, her pace and skills are fantastic asset to the 2s side. Another decent preseason game, with lots of positive aspects to take forward into our 2014/2015 season :) |
