Match Report | A great first game to our preseason venture. With a positive start of good passes and communication Plymouth found the goal first with a shot from Helen Horsewell. To finish the first half Charlie Smith slotted the ball past the keeper during a shot corner to make the score line 2-0 at half time. The second half showed continuous positive play from our new youngsters, with Charlotte, Abby and Libby playing well in their positions and making their mark on the game. Char was solid in defence and Abby passed the ball well in midfield. Libby was fantastic in the forward line, getting stuck in and attacking well in the D. With help from some great passing in midfield Charlie Smith found the goal another two times making the score 4-0 to Plymouth. Cathy was next to get on the score sheet being in the right place at the right time to comfortably slot the ball past the keeper to make the score 5-0. Plymouths final goal came from a perfect pass from centre midfielder Kirsty Nairn into the D for Charlie Smith to deflect into the bottom right corner. ISCA found the goal twice in the second half making the final score 6-2. Scorers: Helen x1, Cathy x1, Charlie x 4 Player of the match: Charlie Smith |
