Match Report | The first fixture for the under 16s saw the new look side take on arch rivals Isca. After a slow start with Isca creating some early pressure Ollie Dinnis scored the opener. Isca failed to clear their lines and Dinnis was on hand to tap in from close range. The reds then stepped up and started to press creating chance after chance but no one getting to the far post!! In the second half it was all one way as the Reds turned the screw and Dinnis fired in a penalty corner strike in the bottom corner and then a rocket in the top corner. The cnaces continued as Mason and Firth mopped up any danger with the flying Cornish wing back Paull and Warmock helping to set up the play. In midfield Josh Lethbridge looked extremely calm retaining possession. Up front an inspired Prosser came to life in the second half on and off the ball causing all sorts of problems helping to set up fellow Ivybridge team mate Jude Ray to score from close tange. The final goal was a well worked move which saw Tyler Walsh on hard to flick into the top corner after the isca keeper made an initial save. This was a great start for the Reds who face local rivals Ashmoor in 2 weeks.
