Following a closing battled match against Taunton, PMHC played ISCA. PMHC started strong once again, with some impressive attacking phases where the midfielders linked play from the defence well to the attacking players. This created many chances for PMHC. The midfielders took control of the game well, stopping ISCA from getting chances by good challenging and strong tackles. The defenders held their positions well stopping any attacking threats from ISCA. After a long agonising wait PMHC broke the deadlock and converted an attacking opportunity with another goal from Jess Lethbridge. As the game drew to an end, both teams made chances, PMHC managed to stop ISCA scoring an goals, meaning the game finished 1-0 to PMHC. All players were ecstatic after the annoying results before loosing their lead and many were anxious about playing a strong team with many JRPC representatives and old team mate Becky Manaton playing for ISCA. All the girls learn a good lesson that it doesn't matter how many good individuals there are, a great working team will always come off better!
