PMHC started well against Taunton Civil Service. The girls passed the ball around producing some impressive phases of play. The team adapted well to playing 11-a-side, the game was one of the first 11-a-side game many of the girls had played. A strong defence stopped Taunton CS creating chances when attacking. When attacking PMHC worked the ball around well creating many attacks on goal, and started to threaten Taunton. On one attack from Taunton they scored. After many attacks PMHC cracked the Taunton defence and managed to put the ball in the back of the net, with a goal from Lauren Barrett. Following from this PMHC lead many attacks and converted their chances, with Jess Lethbridge and Katie Stroud both scoring. PMHC controlled the majority of the game, unlucky Taunton scored 2 goals close to the final whistle, finishing the game 3-3.
