Umpiring
Well done to the following members who all passed their foundation umpires award last week.
Nick Fennell, Josh Dale Burrows, Mike Orman, Taryn Rimmer, George Warrender, James Smith, Tomos Price, Tom Anning. In addition the following also helped at the festival - Nick Saunders-Smith, Matt Saunders, Scott Saunders, Ed Hickey & Tom Lawrence. In addition a big well done to Nick Fennell who was awarded the young umpire award at the primary mixed hockey festival on Friday. Thank you to Devon Umpires in particular Paddy Porter and Julia Gill for their support.

The next course running in partnership between Plymouth Marjon and Devon Umpires will see a Foundation Umpires award run on Monday 7th June from 4-8pm. To book onto the course please email joxley@marjon.ac.uk to book a place.
This will enable young umpires to attend the primary mixed hockey festival on the 10/11th June at UCP Marjon.
The club is in full support of Devon Umpires to help develop umpiring in the county. The club has funds to support members wishing to train as an umpire which will help the club progress.
